The Chevrolet Camaro may no longer be available as a road car, but the legendary American sports car continues its track adventure for 2026. Chevrolet has just unveiled the car that will compete in the NASCAR series next season.

The race-ready Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 will make its official track debut in February at the Busch Light Clash at the Coliseum at Bowman Gray Stadium.

A Bold Character

Just like its now-discontinued production version, the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 race car commands attention on the track. Numerous upgrades have been made to the car, paying tribute to a package developed specifically for the sixth-generation Camaro. Camaro ZL1 owners can purchase this Carbon Performance Package to enhance the design of their car directly through Chevrolet.

Back to our race car, which features an even more imposing hood, a more aggressive grille, and many other upgraded elements. Numerous exterior components have been revised to give it an even more striking presence, and I must say, the result is impressive.

A Remarkable Career

If there’s one thing Chevrolet is no stranger to, it’s motorsports. The American automaker has competed in the NASCAR series with 14 different models since 1955. During this time, the brand has earned 881 wins, 34 driver championships, and 44 manufacturer championships, making it the most decorated manufacturer in the series.

The Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 made its NASCAR debut in 2018, replacing the Chevrolet SS. The American sports car has also secured five consecutive manufacturer championships thanks to its performance this year.
